Catholic Education Automates Compliance with Nintex Workflow
Presented by Angela Bowman, Knowledge Management Officer, CEDP & John Ackery, Director, Devworkz

Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) runs 56 primary schools and 22 secondary schools, and four early learning centres in western Sydney. Using Nintex Workflow, CEDP has transformed a manual auditing register and army of spreadsheets into an online rules-based system where collaboration, transparency, and shared leadership are underpinned by school-level tracking, automation, and organisational learning. Learn more about the “247Checklist” program from concept to implementation from CEDP and Devworkz, and how Nintex Workflow has enabled the automation of critical operations and business systems. This session will also include a live demonstration.

Mobile Productivity – Be Productive, Anywhere

Presented by Steven Miller, Business Group Director, Microsoft Office Division, Microsoft Australia

For years, companies have leveraged Microsoft solutions for their productivity needs. In an evolving cloud-first and mobile-first world, organisations can continue to trust Microsoft and its valued partners such as Nintex, to provide the richest productivity solution across virtually any device in a secure, enterprise-grade way.

Best Practices from a SharePoint MVP
Presented by Elaine van Bergen, Microsoft SharePoint MVP, MCSM

SharePoint, while a great platform, has many different options that can be used to achieve the same business goal. As that gets extended out to Office 365, this increases exponentially. This session will focus on some of the tips, tricks and patterns that help avoid issues in a typical SharePoint implementation. It will also discuss key areas and decision points that help an organisation choose between on-premises, Azure, or Office 365-based implementation, including relevant considerations for each.

Streamlining processes at UNSW Business School using Nintex Workflow and Forms
Presented by Ricky Barclay, Intranet Manager, UNSW Business School & Yugan Yugaraja, Senior Consultant, Empired

The UNSW Business School has commenced a journey to streamline many of its paper-based processes across our disparate groups and functions. It has been identified from an administration, time management and sustainability point of view that transitioning from the current paper-based process to a simple, work-flowed and user-friendly online format will result in multiple benefits for the school.

Via a joint project, the Business School's Marketing, ITS and external vendor Empired, Nintex Workflow and Forms were chosen in conjunction with SharePoint 2013 to create an automated process. The initial project addressed a critical part of running a university, which is employing the correct staff in a timely manner. This original paper-based process was time-consuming and administration-heavy, but the biggest problem was with the paper forms being misplaced and the hiring manager and HR not knowing the status of the request.

Whilst still in the early stages of deployment, it has been identified the many possibilities that are now available to the university via the Nintex products.
