Sercel - Tammy Lake, Software Project Manager
Title: Sercel Automates Employee Onboarding
When Tammy Lake accepted the Software Project Manager job at Sercel, her first big task was to tackle the company’s antiquated employee onboarding process.
Like many global companies each Sercel location had their own way of doing things. Hardware requests were printed, signatures were chased down, and documents were scanned and emailed around the company. As a result it typically took three days to onboard a new employee.
See how Tammy and her team built a forms and workflow solution based on the Nintex Workflow Platform. She’ll discuss lessons learned and show both the tangible and intangible benefits having automated employee onboarding at Sercel. She’ll also share how working with Nintex has inspired new projects.
Microsoft SharePoint MVP
Paul Schaeflein, who owns the SharePoint-focused Shaeflein Consulting, has worked with Microsoft SharePoint since it was called the Digital Dashboard. His work with SharePoint technologies includes substantial custom development, implementation and training. He was granted the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award for his community work, primarily presentations at national conferences, regional events and user groups.

He’s earned a reputation for being a multi-disciplined, high-energy and transformational leader. Since 2013, he has led Nintex’s sales efforts, bringing an unfailing desire to help customers facing business challenges, a deep respect for partners and a passionate belief in the power of workflow.
Jakob Maciolek, Nintex’s Vice President of Sales Americas, has worked with Nintex products for many years as a consultant, business development manager and trusted adviser with a focus on improving business processes. Years of experience solving diverse process challenges for organizations in numerous industries has provided Jakob with unique expertise on how workflow automation can transform organizations.
Mike Fitzmaurice, Nintex’s Vice President of Workflow Technology, is a dynamic speaker with a wealth of knowledge about SharePoint. Before joining Nintex in 2008, he worked at Microsoft, where he was one of the lead developers and evangelists on SharePoint technologies. A knowledgeable and inspiring presenter, Mike speaks regularly at numerous events worldwide about workflow automation.
